Multiple difficulty modifiers will help you find the challenge that’s right for you as you discover the characters and lore of the island. Silky smooth controls, fast paced combat and undeniably enjoyable game-feel make each run more addictive than the next as you progressively unlock permanent upgrades. So, I’ll say this game is a nice diversion for a while but I’m disappointed that it ultimately makes me feel like I am being pushed into spending more time watching ads than playing the game OR paying a lot of real money to do the same thing with a different character or items.Explore a vast, ever-changing island filled with secrets, branching paths and challenging foes. I don’t feel like it rewards me for any kind of skill or progression. I’m around mission 100 and while I have enjoyed the game so far, I’m not sure I will continue playing it. Missions, even those labeled “easy” (especially escort missions) are very difficult to complete without spending boosts, which must be paid for using in game currency (cash) which to earn you must either watch a LARGE number of ads, or paid for with real money. Characters, beyond the first few, are difficult to obtain without paying real money. Sadly, after a certain point, it becomes clear that you can’t really advance in the game without spending a significant amount of real world money. But this game quickly becomes hard to sustain! The gameplay is very fun, the characters are cute and have meaningful bonuses, and I like what the developers are doing in general.
